Quaker oats is quite familiar and easy to cook too..i totally agree but these kind of branded items are all refined oats..Which has a low proportion of fibre..So it is always better to go for rolled oats..Only problem is they take time to cook..but they are really healthy..So try your level best to go for fibre rich foods..

I am not sure about the name of the brands selling rolled oats..Will update if i come across such product :hide:

    Hiya Deepthi,

How are you doing dear??? I roast the peanuts. The chana I get the roasted ones from the market.

Usually, I add more of chaana, puff rice and less of peanuts and walnuts.

You can experiment with the mixture. Add in some raisins if you wants to.

Just make sure not to over do the quantity of peanuts and walnuts.

    For example.

    1. 2 cups puffed rice,

    2. 2 cups Roasted Channa

    3. 1 cup cornflakes

    4. 1 cup roasted peanuts.

    5. 1 cup walnuts

Hope you got the idea. Let me know if you have any more questions.

    Lots of love.

    regards

    Hello Shiva,

Its nice to see your success in weight loss. Truly amazing and very inspiring.

I want to know if dalia and cracked wheat are one and the same. I used to think it is same. Correct me if im not. I get a pack of upma mix from the Indian store which is not suji but is a bit coarse and wheatish brown in color. I have been using this as a substitute for white rice and getting good results. But i know there is more coarse quality suji also.

Need a clarification. Also let me know if cracked wheat has carbohydrates or not? Some people scare me saying that i will not get enough carbs if i eat this in place of rice.
