    Hi friends
    Can you pls give me some veg recipes of healthy, easy to make and tasty evening snacks. I am fed up of the usual pakoda, potato bajjis, french fries etc.

    Hi Kalyani,
    Here are some healthy snack ideas.Hope you like them.
    1)Shravani chana-Mix boiled brown chickpeas,green chillies,salt,sugar,lemon juice,a little coconut(optional) and coriander.
    2)Egg or sweet corn or kabuli chana or brown chana or khakra or cornflakes chaat
    3)Grated potato snack (Batata kees)-In a pan add very little ghee.Then add some cumin seeds and green chillies.Add grated potato or sweet potato and saute it till it gets cooked.Add some salt,sugar and some coarsely ground peanut and mix well.You can use grated corn too in the same way,just instead of peanut powder,you can add a little coconut(optional) and coriander.
    4)Baked sweet potato or carrot fries-Cut sweet potatoes into fries and apply oil and salt and pepper(optional) and bake.
    5)Canapes-For healthy version,you can use cucumber or tomato slices as base and on top of it place the filling of your choice(corn,mushroom,chana,etc.)
    6)Fruit chaat-Cut different fruits into bite-sized pieces and apply lemon juice and chat masala and a little sugar and mix well.
    7)Puffed rajgira or any other puffed cereals made into a bhel with sprouts.
    8)Roasted makhana with chat masala and some powdered sugar(optional).
    9)Roasted chana
    10)Chocolate banana balls-Blend idli batter with bananas,jaggery(optional) and cocoa powder.Make appe or paniyaram as usual.

    How about varieties of Sundal??? Healthy and tasty too...Along with Sundal i used to make almond milk (Soak Almonds, peel the skin and mash it along with milk in mixie)
