Have you ever realized powers in you that were hidden only because your in-laws

Hi Ladies,

Please share your experience.The hidden power or thing that you were also not aware is within you. But you made itgooglesmiley (Thanks to google so many times)

For e.g. When within 15 days of my wedding my IL's declared 10 people are coming to our home within 2 hours for lunch. And I managed to cook good food:clap

I realized yeh the thing that I used to imagine how women can manage solved.
Thanks to my IL's.

Please share your experience too,the obstacle you faced and the way you solved.

It will be really very useful.

Several of them...Ranging from small challenges thrown at me, to larger ones.

Small: While deep frying pooris, MIL standing next to me, and baby-talking to my DS, "tell that you will eat only Puff-puff pooris, and dont want any flat ones".
Well, all pooris did fluff up that day, every single one of them.

Medium: While I was handling a toddler, and was 7 mnths pregnant with my second one with no help....IL's called THEIR distant relatives in MY city, invited them to MY home for festivals and lunch and take-home sweets .. And confirmed the menu with me before they came.

Big: Trying to relocate to another country, and emptying the kitchen / house. Had to host IL's till the moment my flight took off.

Such things don't faze me anymore. Anyway, am capable of handling them.

Oh I never knew I was this bold and would stand up for myself like a rock during times of distress..Thanks to my ILaws for provoking me..It was only then I realised how strong am..

I realized the power of words...If we ladies sit silently and cry we will be treated as doormats..But if we speak boldly and answer back to insults, then the person insulting will think twice before making same remark again.
