Has anyone moved to Texas from North East - NJ/NY or Tri state

    Hello Friends

    I urgently need advice about moving from north east. I am very confused if it is worth or not. Me and my husband both have good jobs in IT and kids are also going to good school. But we wanted to upgrade our house and we both don't like winter in north east so decided to move to Texas. Please tell me pros and cons of moving.

    Hello All

    Has anyone moved from Tri state area to Texas. How is your experience. Please share. We are thinking to move for better quality of life like affordable housing, weather and jobs. Some people say in recession its hard to find/keep jobs in Texas. Please share your experience.

    I am also moving due to weather. please post where you have moved, is it having good schools, extra curricular activities for the kids etc.
