Oh, it is a good idea to start the Brain Teaser game. I will be starting it once my home computer is fixed. It will surely be your birthday present as well as Diwali present to all ILites from me. I welcome any suggestion from you or your friends to change the format. The earlier format was a bit taxing on me and I started using my office time also. Now, I propose to start the game in which the answers can be posted by anyone and there will be a time margin of a day or two. Also, I am thinking of requesting people to post all their answers in one post like answering examination paper and correct answers and points based on them will be at the end of the time margin. All correct answers will be awarded points unlike earlier when we had points for the first correct answer only. I welcome your opinion on this format. Regards, TDU
Hi TDU, Good to know that you will be reviving the brain teasers. Maybe you can do away with the point system. Because calculating what everyone has made can be very time consuming. You could just have a check list that (say) 1st question has been answered, 2nd one has been answered, 4 more to go etc. If anything has been answered correctly, then you could mention that at the end of the day e.g. Today Ques 7 has been answered correctly by Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan, Ques 12 has been answered correctly by Rani Mukherjee.etc OR another format could be - Today Ques 7 has been answered correctly. The answer is ......, Ques 12 has been answered correctly. The answer is....etc. People will know whether they answered correctly or not. That way you don't have to keep a score tally. Would save a lot of your time. The fun is there in attempting to find the right answer. Which will remain despite not having a scoreboard. Hope this helps...
