Happy Anniversary dear IL .....8 glorious years we enjoyed with your baby Dear Malathy ! Now all devoted Ilites can claim this beautiful little girl as their own to cherish and delight in. She is growing prettier day by day ........definitely ,with so many mothering her. Sometimes this little girl reverses her role and we become babes as we run to her and she in turn gladly dons a mothers role to comfort us or cheer us on as we journey along. As I look back to Nov 2007 from the time I joined in, the oft quoted lines from Omar Khayyam's Rubaiyat comes to mind..... "Here with a Loaf of Bread beneath the Bough, A Flask of Wine, a Book of Verse — and Thou Beside me singing in the Wilderness — And Wilderness is Paradise enow." Translated by Edward FitzGerald first edition (1859) With due apologies to the masters .....my version would be.. " With a mug of hot cappucino, curled up on the couch. With soft satin cushions to ease my aching back Laptop perched on my lap,logging in to IL.com Hour after hour would I be surfing in Paradise Transported across oceans and time zones." Wish You all Happy anniversary indusladies. Wow 8 years completed. I feel like just yesterday I have joined here. Everyday there is something new here. This is my second home without IL I just can't survive a single day. Thank you Malathy and Jey for such a beautiful platform for the ladies. Thank you to all the members who are so friendly and supportive.
