when i was searching for hanuman tail pooja photo and book in bangalore i came across a very nice pooja called 16 days coconut pooja for karya siddi anjaneya temple established by Sri Ganapathi Sacchinda Swami ji at girinagar in bangalore. the vrata is very simple on any day go to karya siddi anjaneya temple in girinagar they give us a coconut with a number and alphabet written on it , perform pooja to anjaneya swami make three pradakshinas to prakara and tie coconut in prescribed place. the priest teaches sloka it ha to be repeated daily 108 times at home during this 16 days period one has to visit temple 4 times and do pradakshinas to prakaram 41 times. on 16 day visit to temple untie our cocont do prasdam at home and distribute between friend and relatives. i did this vrata and found wonderful it really worked for me yet i have to collect my coconut on 21st of july. the sloka is as follows
tvasmin kaarya niryoge
pramanam harisattama
hanuman yatna maasthaaya
duhkha kshaya karo bhava

Thanks for sharing Anjenaya's Pooja. Usually i will take fasting on Saturdays for Lord Anjenaya. I will also tie vethalai malai (betel garland) for my Lord. Now i will start to do this 48 days pooja.

i have seen all the comments in this thread abt hanuman pooja and i am thinking to do this pooja from coming tuesday.

Can anyone tell what is the sloka i should chant while performing this pooja and i need to put daily only one pepper for 45 days.

Please answer to my question. So that i can start with devotion.

Hi all,

All of you are doing a fantastic work by sharing their experiences of the Hanuman puja.

I thought I will just pitch with a few things that was advised by one of the astrologer who has advised this puja to my sister

1. 45 days of puja
2. Daily sandanam and kumkum
3. incase of ladies days, they can continue from the 5th day
4. He suggested that once you complete 45 days, go to a temple and offer Vadamalai and leave the picture in the temple or put it in the beach. If its left at the temple, the people in the temple usually puts it in the beach for drop in the well ...

Anybody has any suggestions on point 4??
