I made 3 hankies for my mum from the left over cotton material I had (from making newborn dresses for my neice) with simple embroidery. Will be giving it to her when I go home on 26th. hurray!

Very pretty and neat work by your mother, Shruthi. Some very simple stitches and designs can give an elegant look for the hankies.

Thanku Saroj mam, malliga mam, Shantha mam, himanadendla, Sharada mam & Padhmu.
Thanku for the suggestion, Sharada mam.
Saroj mam, will share more as & when I finish them.
Malliga mam, my mother's name is also Mallika and I had mentioned this in another post(stitching/sewing thread). Don't know if u saw that. I had an English teacher called Mallika who stayed close to my home and we often come home together by walking and ppl used to think I'm her daughter because of the namesake! :-D

When I saw your work I remembered my amma. She had done a number of hankies , embroidered them and presented to a swamiji. All are neat and cute.
