Sorry if i sound silly asking this question...... In summer i have headbath thrice a week.... But in winter since i work full time , i have a bath on sat or sun and again on a weekday evening after coming from work.... at 7.30 PM.. :spin when i was in india, my mum would always advise against having headbath after 2-3 pm.... she says water will stay in the head without getting evaporated....and will cause sinus etc.....even if i dry it well , when i go to bed it is still a bit wet..i get colds regularly.... I dont want to use hair dryer cos im already losing lot of hair...and it is dry...:bonk Is there anybody else who has headbath at night?....is it a problem...pls advice me,....ppl who live in countries with winter.....im confused....:idea lol..... I love indusladies...its always my problem solver :thumbsup
Hi! I bath every night before bed and I have long thick hair. I have done this for a long time, even when I lived in New York which is bitterly cold in the winter. If it is very cold I put a knit hat on over my wet hair, if not I just pull a flat pillow over my head while I sleep. I don't get cold anymore than other people, in fact, considerably less since I am a compulsive hand washer! Good luck, Ami:bonk
Supriya, I take head bath usually at night or early (5:00 AM) in the morning. I do not have any problems because of that. I would let it dry completely before I go to bed using a towel. Also, do not leave the towel tied to your hair for longer time after the head bath. Just wipe the hair with 2 dry towels and let it dry by itself. And yes, it's very tough to dry hair in winters. So in winters you may want to change the schedule to day time. Your Mom might be right about sinus problems. I do sneeze a lot after head bath.
