Hi All, My 8 month old LO's haemoglobin count is 10.2.Can you please suggest what needs to be done to increase her haemoglobin count. Thanks in Advance!
Give her dates. I boil dates and use the water as sweetener for LO's other foods. If the dates are soft I also give it directly. I use middle east dates. I have been giving dates since my LO was 7 months old. She cleared the Haemoglobin test taken in her 8th month.
@chotabheem I think the test can be done anytime. For some of my friends kids it was done when they were 1 year of age. Do talk to your paed on your next visit.
Like Ramya said, dates are the best to increase the count; my nephews count increased after taking those.
Hi... Please check the link below which explains in details why kids Hb count test was asked to be checked http://txpass.org/wp-content/upload...emoglobin-screening-test-final-09.1.20101.pdf http://www.livestrong.com/article/343025-foods-that-will-increase-hemoglobin-levels/
@asr4 I have been giving dates regularly i.e at least 4-5 times in a week for my LO since she was7.5 months old. My paed said it is ok to give them regularly.
