H4 Visa proof of residence

Hi Indus ladies ,

I am pradeepa. I have just joined IL and this is my first query Am getting married on nov 10th and am applying for H4 visa. I have a query regarding H4 visa process.
Its regarding address proof. I have tried to explain my situation below.

The address in my passport is the old one(say X). Currently am staying in new address(say Y).

If at all they are asking for address proof, should I be showing address proof of X(since that’s the address in my passport) or Y?
And when I am registering my marriage, should I be registering with address X(since that’s the address in my passport) or Y?

Is it ok if my current residential address is different from the one in my passport?
And can I show the current address proof’s?

Many thanks for your reply. the problem is my wedding is on nov 10th and i have very little time left to do these changes and hence i wanted to know these details

Thats the reason am checking about alternate solutions
