Thank you all so very much for this information. This Utthara Guruvayur temple in Nanganallur seems to have the same structure as Guruvayur temple.Iam supposed to go to Guruvayur temple to do a pooja but iam not able to do that travelling all the way to Kerala now. So,this temple in Chennai itself is very helpful as the poojas conducted are similiar to the temple there. Hope iam able to visit the temple soon. geevee
Now in Adambakkam Ayyappan Temple, Guruvayoorappan pradhishtai is done on 05.07.2010 with grand Kumbabhishekam festival. One can make a visit to this temple also. Though the temple is small, it is very nice.
Is Lord Ayyappan = Lord Guruvaurappan? Is Ayyappan koil at Anna Nagar is = Guruvsurappan? Would the main deity in these temples look alike? Regards. God Bless
