    Yes.. Still many parents giving importance to privilege rather than a daughter's life.. They were feeling that.. if it was cancelled, their daughter cannot get a good life.. so they were accepting what the groom's family were demanding

    yes.. u r right.. Bride's family should say that we cannot afford..
    but we should also remember one thing
    groom's family demanded the money before the marriage date..
    so it will be burden to bride's family

    Sad. When we buy something we cannot afford, we end up with lifelong EMI. And when we hate what we are buying, and still buy it, the EMI would sting every month. A fine marriage, that would be.

    I don't understand how shamelessly the grooms parents demand dowry. Whats the use of education when the girl cant stand up for herself against dowry? Even after all the red flags the girl and her family are borrowing money to meet the grooms family's demands. Don't know what to say. If the institution of marriage is built on the basis of money how will it be happy? I strongly feel the grooms family is going to demand for money and other stuff even after marriage. How will they arrange for money then? I feel she should stop the marriage proceedings right now and not run around to arrange money. I don't understand whom are the girls family afraid of if they cancel the marriage. They should not forget in the name of pride and prestige they are pledging their wonderful daughters life to the blood sucking monsters.
