Enjoyed viewing the pictures Vasu.. First picture in the 3rd post is the best!! I like Goundamani comedies very much.. Even in those days he managed to come up with perfect nakkals and nayyandis.. I think a writer named Veerappan was responsible for his dialogues, but i believe Goundar too had his contribution.. Even mokka movies are worth watching because of his comedy tracks.. Karagaattakkaaran, Vaidegi Kaathirundhaal, Kanni Raasi, Chinna Thambi, Nadigan, Maaman Magal, My Dear Marthandan, Pondaati sonna kettukkanum, Mannan were his best! There are lot more, can't think of the movie names. His dialogue delivery in a movie where he appeared as a honest politician Vijayakumar's assistant, or in the other where he talks out of his mind to Vijayakumar/Manorama when he seemed to have won a lottery, or as a miser family man trying to get rid of Ramaraj from his home before dinner, or his advice to Senthil for a peaceful life- that is to get his wife to riverside- backfiring were all hilarious. His explanations for Paper Roast & Betromax [not sure of spelling] light, Mother Supreme remains as the best one ever. My favourite comedian, but sad that he lost his fame at the end of 90's. May be because of lack of good writers. Good to see him still in movies, but I admit his comedies are not that funny anymore. Anyway he had a good run, and will remain in his fans' hearts. Now Sandhanam will definitely fill his shoes, IMO.. Hmm I can't seem to stop talking when it comes to comedy actors/actresses... We had a good thread going for comedy actresses.. Wonder whether we will be able to give life to it again... hmm.... Thanks for sharing the pictures Vasu...
