விஜய்யின் 51 வது படம் 'பாடிகாட்' படத்தின் ரீமேக் என்பது ரசிகர்களுக்கு தெரிந்திருக்கும். இப்படம் மலையாளத்தில் சூப்பர் ஹிட் படம் என்று சொல்லப்பட்டாலும், சேட்டன்களின் கூற்று வேறு மாதிரி இருக்கிறது. "இது எங்க ஊர்ல பிளாப் படமாச்சே" என்கிறார்கள் அவர்கள். ஆனால் தமிழில் எடுக்கும்போது சிற்சில மாற்றங்களை செய்து இங்குள்ள ரசிகர்களுக்கு ஏற்றார்போல எடுக்க திட்டமிட்டிருக்கிறாராம் சித்திக்.

ஏன் நமது 51வது படத்தை எந்திரனோடு வெளியிடக்கூடாது என்று யோசிக்க வைத்திருக்கிறதாம். அதற்கான வேகம்தான் இந்த இரண்டு பாடல்கள். பொதுவாகவே சித்திக் வேக வேகமாக படத்தை எடுத்து முடிக்கிற வழக்கம் உடையவர் என்பதால் இந்த ஸ்பீட் தீபாவளியை நோக்கிதான் என்கிறார்கள். எந்திரனையும் அந்த நேரத்தில் கொண்டு வரலாம் என்றுதான் பம்பரமாக உழைத்துக் கொண்டிக்கிறார் ஷங்கர்.
ஆனால் இதற்கெல்லாம் சாத்தியமே இல்லை. ஒருவேளை விஜய்யின் படமே முழுக்க தயாரானாலும், ரஜினி-ஷங்கர்-ஐஸ்வர்யா-சன் பிக்சர்ஸ் என்ற மலைகளை எதிர்க்கிற தைரியம் அந்த நேரத்தில் பம்மிக் கொள்ளும் என்று சொல்பவர்களும் உண்டு.

Yet another change is that Raj Kiran has bagged the role essayed by Thyagarajan.

Vadivelu and MS Bhaskar will feature in the movie’s comedy track. Vidyasagar will score music for this film. Ekambaram has been signed up to wield the camera.

Sources said that the director finished off other close-up shots of shoulders and hip with dupes. He requested the Superstar to wait until he finishes other shots. Whatta patient and simple man is our Superstar! He has stayed on and completed the shots and gave full cooperation to the team, they say.

Rajini is still ruling the hearts of millions, mainly for his simplicity and sweetness to everyone alike!

Vikranth says that comparing his looks with his cousin Vijay should stop once Goripalayam hits the screens. The actor has said that though he had acted in a couple of films, comparing him with the Ilayathalapathy continues.

According to Vikranth, he will choose films henceforth that will suit his image. Speaking about Goripalayam, which is due to hit the screens in April, Vikranth expects that it will provide the much-needed break in his career.

In these testing times of internet and television, Aadhavan celebrated its 100th day at the Park Sheraton this evening.

Apart from the celebrations, the event stage also witnessed distribution of funds to the tune of Rs. 1 lakh to welfare organizations like Jeevan Velicham, Nambikkai, People AIDS initiative, St. Annes and T Lokesh, a needy engineering student.

Suriya, speaking at the event, revealed that while others think of the God during tough times, he tends to think of Kamal during his demanding shoots. He also asked Kamal how he kept his cool all the time and remained modest irrespective of successes. Kamal, in his address, replied that he had no special quality that Suriya’s father cannot teach Suriya. “However, the one thing I would like to emphasize is to put your recent success behind you. This is the most essential mantra,” Kamal said.

The event was attended by Nayanthara, Karthi, Vadivelu, Sarojadevi and the other crew members and technicians of the movie. Trophies were also distributed to the cast and crew.

Shruti Haasan is busy juggling her career between music and acting. The lady is currently stationed in Mumbai to try her luck yet again in Bollywood, sources say. But offers from the south seem to be pouring in for Shruti. She was recently signed up to croon for a Kannada film.

As per her instructions, the film unit travelled all the way to Mumbai to record the lady’s voice. It is also said that Shruti prefers to use a particular recording studio and the team obliged to her wishes.
