    hi all,

I have this crazy habit please dont laugh.....

I keep on munching jeera, methi (n fact i can eat the most bitter ones), frequently throughout the day..whenever i am inside the kitchen...i dont eat any of the nuts, biscuits out there..

so my question is too much of anything is not good...what about in my situation...

    Dear friends,

Methi is good especially during those days for women. if you dont like bitter taste of it you can sprout it and store whenever you cook tour dal for sambar you can 1 or 2 tsp of this sprouted methi. try it and ul be surprised about the delicious taste and flavour of sambar.

here is a recipe with sprouted methi.

    1 cup tour dal
    1/4 cup sprouted methi
    4 garlic cloves
tamarind pulp 2 tbs(adjust to ur taste)
    salt

    for seasoning
    mustard
    jeera
    kalonji or kaal jeera(onion seeds)
    hing
    curry leaves

cook dal with other ingredients except salt. season it and add salt. it goes well with chapathi and rice without any cutting vetting job........
