Hi Ladies, I am in chennai. Basically i relocated from hyd. I thought to stitch my dresses in chennai. After seeing the comments from indusladies post i choosed yazhini in kodampakkam. I have stitched 6 dresses. He charged for every single work. Normally for piping and all in hyd, it's free of cost. But he charged 50 rs. for that. Almost the amount came around 2200 Rs. But after getting my dresses today, i came to know i could have given in Tnagar 1 hour tailoring shop, they might have stitched better than this guy. His service is too poor. why i am writing this is no one else should waste their money. Really very hard earned money, i literally in a state to cry only. I dont know, when i have gone there to give my materials, he and she talked very decently but when i have gone there to collect my dresses they both used volgur words, which i never ever heard earlier. There is no fitting at all. for each dress he charged 225 and 300(lining). And for pattern 100 Rs each, But he didnt do any pattern in the dress, so i asked him to refund the money but he didnt. I think in road side tailors also, they will stitch dress with the measurement what we have given to them. But this guy didnt do that. One of my dress had different slit size. one is too close to hip and another is started from my thyee. Please do not go to the shop. Really i frustrated of this chennai tailors. pls pls dont waste your money by stitching materials in chennai.
My friend has relocated to Pondicherry from Chennai and she is looking for a good tailor. She had a bad experience with Shruthi in Anna Nagar, a lady tailor. She had given a salwar for a trial and seemed to be fine. And with that belief she had given 5 salwars and all the five had different sizes. Anyone who knows a good tailor Please help.

Aww.. finding a tailor is always a problem.. I was introduced to a tailor shop in T.Nagar through one of my friend.. The shop's name is Ladies Corner, its just next to T.Nagar Rathna Stores. The shop will be in the first floor.. You can find rows of tailor shop in that floor and Ladies corner u can find in the last.. I had got my blouse and salwars stitched from there in a reasonable rate.. But i dunno whether he does designer works..
