Good Morning America. Is The Reality Starting To Sink In Now?

Our household- 3-hour discussion on how bad the situation can get. My worse fear- another holocaust.. what my child will face in the school.
My husband worse fear- No class, no decency. Trump leading the way to show Republicans where the "new normal" is and how to milk it.

 

Unbelievable...some of us are just too shocked to even type!

 

Well a year ago, including my DH everyone laughed at Trump saying it's one of his antics. He will never win. Yet here we are... wondering what next.

When Holocaust happened.. its not like everyone woke up one morning and decided to turn against their Jewish neighbors and put them in gas chambers.

It started with a big gap in economic status in society and the intolerance shown toward the "others" (coz at that point the Jewish community were quite well to do) Holocaust did take lives of somewhere around 11 million people.

Trump's win is heading towards more racism, more intolerance against brown ( be it an Arab or Indian), approving a business man can escape taxes for 18 years, creating a color based society- white against the rest.

Holocaust may not happen in Trump's presidency- Trump's win is opening up and validating the white working class's fear. The fear of the other is going to be used again and again by the Republicans.

 

Its jus a big shocker! Still tryna sink into this fact. The question remains the same, how this is going to effect us, the conditions we will be living in and so on.. At this point all we can do is.. Hope for the best! #Disappointed

 

Just saying folks maybe white house was not ready for first gentle(???)man yet !

Those who voted for Trump would never say it out ! #godsave

 

Now,it really is the time and finally have the "perfect" reason to move back to India
