Hi, I will be visiting Madurai in May. Can you suggest a nice hotel/service apartment? I don't want the 3 star ones. It should be neat with decent AC rooms.
My vote goes to Hotel Madurai Residency, Reason being: 1. Decent Tariff, (Medium) 2. Proximity (Centrally located) 3. Front Office Staff are there for quite sometime and better compared to many hotels of this kind 4. Restaurant / Parking available Have been a regular visitor for couple of years and just for a short break it is fine. Best Wishes.. But being May please mail them and book in advance.

Conville behind St.Thomas Church, Ramnagar on the bye pass road is a good one as a service apartment.
Thank you for all the help. Unfortunately my husband had to undergo makor eye operation. So I cancelled my trip. In future if I plan a trip I will definitely keep the updates received from you all
