I have heard that Dr Mukandan (Gynaecologist) in Burjeel is very good. He is Indian and earlier was in Lifeline Hospital.
Hi Nihara I heard about Dr. Aroona .One of my friend had been to her and she had a good experience. Hope this helps. For delivery many of them opt for Corniche Hospital. But do check out from others.

Hello and greeting to all ladies here. I just came back from an ante-natal check up at the Burjeel Hospital. My gynae is Dr. Mary Phylliss who was previously from the Lifeline hospital and I was informed that she has a great deal of followers here in the Burjeel Hospital and is very popular among local (Emiratis) patients , a reason why I decided to choose her besides her vast experience. However, my opinion of her is somewhat different from what I have read up on her. Besides experience and expertise being a major characteristic in choosing my gynae, this doctor patient relationship is another thing that I look for needing my doctor to be friendly and welcoming. I am not saying that I need my doctor to be super friendly or chirpy but at least to exude this aura that I am appreciated as her patient. Unfortunately, this is not what I got from Dr Mary. She was very straight, unfriendly..very businesslike; she rarely smiled ( only got 2 smiles from her) or even asked how I was feeling, kept quiet during the whole time she performed the ultra sound on me only speaking when neccessary. From this first visit, she channeled this "hey you are just a patient and I am the doctor so we are not going to be best friends" attitude. I was quite disappointed with her because at least, since I have given you the trust to attend to my pregnancy and to perform my c=sect, she should have shown some kind of appreciation or give out some feeling that I am welcomed. BUt, first impression do not have to last, right? Let's see how she is on my 2nd visit.
Trust ur gut feeling...if ur not comfortable don't go to her. Even I'm like u... Went to many gynacs n hospitals before I was totally confidant. Had both my babies with the same doc n I would go to her in future if needed. All the best.
Very surprised to see the post. I know her well. She did treatment for my best friend before 3 years and i use to accompany her. She is overfriendly - I felt. Even today, I pass on the photos of my friend's daughter to Dr.Mary. Because Dr wants to see the kid and my friend shifted back to India. Dr attends my friends call and speaks to her so nicely. Even today I see how her patients talks to her in car parking / shopping malls / places. She talks so nicely and motherly. Anyways, What you give you get back. If you trust her completely and talks to her, she is the BEST second mother for you not a professional DOC. Iam Sorry if I hurt you. But iam not critisizing you, but just saying my point of view and my feelings...
