My father often frequents the French Book Centre Pvt. Ltd. in Lajpat Nagar. The address is #A3, D.D.A. Shopping Complex, Ring Road, Defence Colony, Lajpat Nagar, Delhi – 110024. It is near Moolchand Hospital. The contact person is Mr Rawat. The contact numbers are 011- 24699349 and 9871703412.
The shop remains open from Monday to Saturday, from 9 am to 10 pm. It has a good stock of all types of books.

He also likes going to Aditya Books Pvt Ltd, in Lajpat Nagar. The address is 119, Vinoba Puri, Lajpat Nagar, Delhi – 110024. It is opposite the Mother Dairy booth. The contact person is Mr. Kailash. The contact numbers are 011-41724129 and 011- 47772525.

There are quite a few bookshops in Lajpat Nagar. I like the Pramco Books near D.D.U. Hospital. The address is M1, Part 3, Lajpat Nagar, Delhi – 110024.

My brother-in-law buys his law books from Orient Law House in Lajpat Nagar. The address is B136, A 37, Basement, Part 4, Dayanand Colony, Lajpat Nagar, Delhi – 110024. It remains open from Wednesday to Monday, from 10-30 am to 8-30 pm. It accepts credit cards.

Another good shop in Lajpat Nagar is Lawman India Pvt Ltd. It is in Vinoba Puri. I think it has the same owner that Aditya Books (that Madhuja mentions) has.

I spent the later part of last week at my sister’s place at Ghaziabad. I happened to go to a few bookstores there of which one was the Crossword bookstore. It is located on the first floor of Pacific Mall near ISBT, Anad Vihar, Sahibabad, Kaushambi, Ghaziabad- 201010. The phone numbers are: 0120- 3012150-54.
I loved the huge collection of novels and epics that they have.

I also went to the Bookworld on G.T. Road. The contact number is 91-120-4113783. This shop remains open from 10 am to 6 pm from Monday to Saturday. My niece gets a number of books from here.
