In my interview, I had specifically mentioned about the discount and the reply of the author was placed before my readers. I have approached the Publishers and they have WRITTEN TO ME THEY ARE WILLING TO GIVE DISCOUNT ON BULK PURCHASE.

Dear Malspie ma'am, very vibrant evening to you!

You proved to be dynamic (even more) by your "Surprise" thread. It was really interesting to go through and the way you had sketched it, it was as if i was in your place interviewing the famous Author!

Will we get that 10% discount on the book? Or can you give an approximate amount which we will have to pay for the Encyclopedia? This would help me to put a word to my parents so that i can assure you soon about my copy. I feel the Encyclopedia is an asset to all of us if we possess one!

I am waiting for few more names to come in, so that I can talk to the publishers who have promised the discount if more of IL members would come forward to buy the book. If any one is interested ask them to pool their names here. Once I finish the talk with the publishers, I can direct you all to buy the book. It will be a direct deal, need not worry.

I'm very much interested in buying the book. It would make a perfect gift. In fact, I already called India and let my people know about it. But if you can get us all a good deal, I need atleast 6 books. Also, I need some information:
1. What will the price be in Rs and $?
2. Will the publishers ship to different addresses in USA? What will they charge?
3. Can I give different addresses in India?
4. How soon can we get it? ( time for shipping to India/USA)

Thank you for the immediate response. Its just that i need to inform my parents regarding the same. That's why asked an approximate amount. It will not be good on my part to step back later once i agree now. Anyways, lets hope for the best. But keep my name in reserve. Am sorry about that. Once you decide on the price after talking to the publishers (of course soon after we get enough responses) I will surely assure you.

Dear friends,

Waiting for few more to count in. They have promised a good 20% discount for IL members in India. But the count has to be 10 members at least. They will reach it to our door. No separate payment of postal or courier or shipment charges
