Missiamma is my all time favourite...what a movie?!...I love Savithri in that movie...my husband used to tease saying only people like u will watch this barrel...ofcourse she is fat...but, who bothers? I dont watch beyond her eyes and nose...

She is the real beauty with brains yaar...she never does the role with over-acting (like Sivaji..., Sivaji fans, please excuse..nothing aginst him...)

wow i didn't know both the telugu classics movies Missamma and mayabazar were this famous in tamil

50 years later it's otherway around tamil movies are much more famous in telugu.
telugu movies have come down from those classics to 3rd grade stuff

 

btw whole mayabazar movie is remade into colour in telugu
