    hai huma,
    am nandhini from kochi. Here there is no prob in wearing gold anklets. Am also a hindu and i wear gold anklets since 10th standard. Now am married n wear gold toe rings too. Its up to you whether to wear gold or silver.........

    Exactly. When then there is belief that only Godess Lakshmi wears Gold anklet, why break that belief.
    Instead go for artificials, which easily comes for 6months also u get cute designs..

    My mom brought everything in gold in marriage, we also made gold watch, and when asked
    jewel shop to make gold anklet he refused stating this reason..

    So finger toe and anklet i wear silver only..
