The NRA can do what it does because politicians support it. Politicians have the power to vote down gun control because we, the people, give them that power. It's time to stop blaming politicians and take a good look at the voters.
Every time we go to the polls, we vote for what we value most. As voters, we get to choose between the lives of children and the freedom to purchase arms without background checks. So far, voters are choosing their rights over children's lives.
