    Hello Ladies,

I would need some suggestions here. I am coming to US by this month end on H4. I wish to pursue MBA for the same need to give GMAT. I was suggested to buy books and take from India. I have been working all this while hence no idea on what books to buy.

It would be of great help if you all could recommend what books to buy.

    Thanks
    Himani

The Manhattan GMAT books are quite good for all sections. If I recollect anything else, will reply back. Try to join some GMAT forum. From there ,you can get good tips and recommendations for books as well.
    All the best!

    Hello Racr,

Thank you for responding. I got similar feedback that Manhattan GMAT books are very good. I was also suggested to buy the GMAT Official Guide. Can you suggest on what exactly to buy as the books do add on to the weight. Need guidance on which GMAT Forum to join, as I have no idea on this front. Your suggestions will be of great help. I am traveling in two weeks time please let me know.

    thanks again!

Yes,OG is essential,as it also contains actual tests question bank.Do you really need to buy them in India?I know that they are really heavy books. If you buy these books online in US,you can still get a good deal.Amazon etc also sell used books at reasonable rates.Compare the rates in India and U.S.Regarding MGMAT,if you take up one of their online courses, they include as freebies MGMAT and some OG books as well. Don't remember exactly, but you can check out their website.

MBA forums - There are so many of them like GMATCLUB and BEATTHEGMAT. Others might be good too.
