I have an older couple who live opposite to me. They’ve always been nice and cordial. My DS loves to play with their pets. This year, they dropped some gifts off for him for Christmas. Toys and some edibles too. I was wondering what to send them. Any ideas? I was thinking of doing something for New Years. Since they are older and also have some health issues, I was thinking of skipping the cakes/cookies - regular neighborly gifts.

How about a fruit basket like Harry and David’s pears or Honeybell oranges shipped straight from the grove?

I would second @MalStrom suggestion. We send the fruits baskets to my in laws.If you want to send nuts, we like Sunnyland Farms in GA. Their pecans (and other nuts) are the best. You can order online.
Since you are in Texas, Pittman and Davis citrus fruits are great quality.

@MalStrom and @nuss - I am now tempted by all these fruits/nuts gifts by mail. I’m going to order some for myself too. Thank you!
