getting onegram jewellery from india?

Hello all,
My mom is eager to send me onegram jewellery via courier from india to usa. I just want to know if any one of you got the one gram jewellery safe from india. I heard that packages will be scanned and filtered.

Vidisha,

There should not be any problem. I got nearly 4-5 sets for my sisters here. I carried them in my cabin baggage itself. Didn't face any problem during scanning. They haven't asked me to open and show the bag.

Thanks for the reply coollife,
I am in usa and my mom wants to send the 1gram jewellery through courier.
That is the reason i am asking if it is safe through courier.

Oh! Sorry. I missed that you are planning to get the sets thru courier.

My sis's sis-in-law recently sent her nearly 5-6 sets thru courier. There was no problem. All the sets were in good shape.

Hi Vidisha,

My MIL has sent me 1gm lakshmi coin by courier. She sticked it in a greeting card and it reached me safely. There was no problem.
