Hi all, This is a great discussion.Score is really a very useful link needed by anyone who is looking to startout as an entrepreneur.They even have local chapters in almost all cities of the US and have really experienced mentors with them.Though not actually visited their office, I learnt about this organisation while I stayed in the US and was trying to do something from home.I feel India too should have such government run organisations to promote and support entreprenuers.

Hi Meena, are you planning to run the business on a H4 visa? I was under the impression one needs citizenship or at the least a Green Card to own and run a business. Maybe I am wrong. Could you please clarify that aspect? Thanks so much!

If a H4 visa does have provisions for self-employment, that would be great news for many dependants out there, I'm sure!!

First and foremost thank you for opening an valuable thread.

Right now i'm working in an IT company. 25 yrs old. Probably would be getting married this year. Planning not to go for work after marriage. I love to spend time with my family members.

However i also have a strong feeling of not wasting the time by sitting at home.

I really have an intention to start an Export business to US/UAE countries. Especially cloths and toys.

To be very honest i didn't even have a idea how to start, from where to purchase finished goods or toys and then export to US.

Also not aware of the customer's expectation at US/UAE.:hide:

But, i really have a strong feeling that i could really shine if somebody could show me a path and lit the light.

Kindly advice me on this.

I have become a big fan of yours. I get tolearn a lot by studying your website and your posts.

I am eager to start a business, but the only thing that holds me back is the visa status. I think there are many who are also sailing in the same boat.

I am not sure if one can approach SCORe and try to set up something on dependent visa, can they? Could you guide us on that aspect too?
