    Introduction:

    I am starting this thread to give menus for get-togethers over breakfast, lunch, tea & dinner.
    I will post the links in this thread itself.

    I request you to post the feedbacks only in

    Dear Friends,
    I have framed some menus for breakfast, which can be planned, given 2 days' time.
    I am giving 2 sweets & 2 savouries. I have planned in such a way that atleast 3 of them can be prepared the previous day & only the main item to be made & served hot. I also made sure the creals etc are not repetitive. This should be sufficient when you host 5, 6 people. I plan to build up gradually, with more dishes, for entertaining upto 10-12 people.
    Please let me know if one more hot or chilled dessert is necessary.

    I wanted to finish cooking & write to you:
    Today's menu:
    BF - toast, fruits & juice for V
    Diet smoothy for me (thanks to Magic bullet - BF is one whirrrrr)

    Lunch:
    Avarakkai-drumstick poricha kuzambu
    Potao roast for V
    Crunchy cabbage salad +left over kadamba paratha for me
    Lemon-jeeraka rasam

    Dinner
    Lauki soup + planning carrot-moong dosai.

    Grab your share of my most favourite crunchy cabbage salad - plan to post a simple slicer today!!

    BF - idlis for V
    For me smoothy - instant oats+skimmed milk powder+wheat bran _ 1/2 cup papaya+1/2 cup water all one whir in Magic Bullet

    Lunch:
    Tomato pappu - mainly for V
    Brinjal gravy curry, kovakkai curry, reguar rasam, carrot-chowchow-date-peanut salad

    Dinner - onion-pepper-cheese roti, white peas maal
    I plan to make a dessert because we are announcing Thanu's wedding!!

    Menu for the day!

    BF:
    MW Vegetable rava upma - for V
    Smoothy - thin poha+wheatgerm+one 5 grainbiscuit + a few apple pieces +skimmed milk for me(Ruby says, my Magic Bullet is literally crying to her!! :-()

    Lunch:
    Omum morkuzambu, kovakkai curry, tomato rasam
    salad - beetroot, chowchow; these salads are ideal for phulkas!

    My smoothy - creamcracker biscuits+flax seed powder + 2 tbsp curds+ methi-tomato chutney!
