Hey Gals,

I am Shikha.:wave My information is as listed.

Height: 5’2”

Weight: 120 lbs

BMI: 21.8 (Healthy)

My Goal:
I am a working mother of a 3yr old son. During pregnancy, I had gained upto 55 lbs and it has taken me around 3 years to shed all my baby fat. I am at my pre-pregnancy weight now. But my only problem is that my weight reduction technique is not good. :notthatway: I usually start dieting when I feel that my weight is increasing. I lose my weight but I easily gain it all back. It’s a vicious cycle of losing and gaining that I am stuck in now. I want to maintain my weight and feel healthy, that’s my goal for near future. But my current goal is to shed some pounds so that I can fit into my size 4 Jeans.

I hope that this contest will help me keep motivated daily. I am planning to do Yoga daily too (which I easily skip for two or three days).

I wish all of you luck to get back in your perfect shapes in this amazing new year 2010. :thumbsup

Hello All.
Due to intensive exercise and diet i have lost 22 kgs last year and have been maintaining it for 5 months without any issues. I am 5'4'' and wiegh 53 kgs. I am just on the maintaining mission now n dont plan to lose any wieght. I am now eating normally and exerciseing moderately(30 mins cardio three times a week). I checked my BMI at desideiter and it was 19.9, which is normal.
Am i eligible to join this contest? Pls let me know b'cos i am very concerned about maintaining my wieght. Thank you.

A few ideas while drafting your resolutions for the New Year:

1. I will not go grocery shopping on an empty stomach-the tendency of buying everything in sight is more when you are hungry while shopping.
2. I will buy at least three different varieties of fruits and lots of salad vegetables along with my regular vegetables.
3. I will not skip meals in an attempt at losing weight.

Hello Friends,

This contest has been announced at the right time (for me)..My BMI assessment says..
"Your BMI is 24.6
Your Target Weight Range is 47 to 58 kgs"
I am now 63 kgs.. I am aiming to reach 57 kilos ( loss of 6 kilos) in 2-3 months..
I am a housewife with a hyperactive 1.5 yr daughter.I have started learning yoga since past week. I desire to achieve the target by following a balanced diet and doing yoga..

Hi,

Nice thread...

My goal is to lose 5kgs...I was slim before marriage, but later put on a lot of weight...:-(As I am planning to have a baby I definitely need to reduce so that I do not develop complications later on...Also since history of diabetes is running in our family, I am at a higher risk..mgue to all these I want to get back to my pre-marriage weight i.e 57kg..:yes: I want to be a healthy homemaker taking care of the needs of my dear ones.

I have registered in desidieter...My BMI is 25.2, which is overweight
