    Hi All,

    Today is Jan 28th 2010 (US Eastern standard Time)

    Reporting score 82.9
    score for today 2.8

    My food today -

    1) I had 6 glasses of water today
    2) Bread and butter sandwiches -2 and milk
    3) Lunch - Rajma curry and gobi with peppers, basmati rice and roti
    4) Excercise - Walking for 25 mins.
    6) Dinner - rice+dal+one veg curry+ yogurt

    We have another breakfast tip for all of you to emphasize the importance of breakfast for people of all age groups. Did you know that 1 out of 3 Indians Skip Breakfast?

    "Eating a healthy breakfast has beneficial effects on appetite, insulin in the blood, and energy metabolism. In a breakfast habits' study that covered more than 1,000 respondents from all communities revealed that a quarter of the children skipped breakfast at least four times a week. While 36% of respondents admitted skipping breakfast, 14% said they skipped lunch, and 7% dinner. Significantly, women and adolescent girls were found having either no food for breakfast or inadequate food; 45% of 8-12-year-olds and 54% of those aged 13-15 years had only a glass of milk in the morning. While fat intake was high, there was little iron in the diet. A study by WHO and the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) showed that at least 50% of people in India did not eat even one vegetable a day and that only 11% ate a fruit a day. Another study conducted by the Hyderabad-based National Institute of Nutrition revealed how the craving for junk food had made several students obese at a very young age."

    Today I kept fast for Sai till evening but had juice and fruits. Evening I had 1 cup pulihora. Couldn't go for walk because of fasting. Feeling sleepy and tired.
