Get in Shape 2010!

    Hi All,

    My score for 27/1/10 is 2.8 and reporting score is 89.4.
    I got bit stressed due to my daughter's tantrums and so could not eat 5+ servings of fruits/veggies...

    total water intake 2 liters
    b'fast wholewheat bread-3 slices with peanut butter-2 tsp.
    banana
    lunch-rice with pumpkin curry(with bengal gram and fresh coconut added), yellow cucumber(dosakai), chutney,rasam and curd
    evening- murmura(puffed rice), tea
    dinner- 3 chapathis(without oil) and french beans +carrots curry,raw salad(carrots,tomato,onion,green chilli,lemon juice,a pinch of salt), morning's chutney and curry.

    Instead of writing usual list of food eaten I am telling you what improvements I am doing.

    Eating regularly salad as it's the best way of direct intake of veggies.

    Initially I started this by stopping tea completely but again I started drinking tea but this time it's just 1/2 cup tea and 1 toast.

    I have found interesting recipes on the net of innovative cooking. One of which is Madhuram's egg less vegan cooking. (egglesscooking.com) I made cracked wheat idli, cracked wheat spinach pongal. They are healthy and tasty.

    When one person in a house id following healthy habits it reflets ( may be slowly but it does) in all other family members too. I am seeing the results in my house. And I am so happy for this last point.:)

    Hi All,

    Today is Jan 27th 2010 (US Eastern standard Time)

    Reporting score 80.1
    score for today 1.9 (is poor today. Work was very hectic and my baby was sick)

    My food today -

    1) I had 5 glasses of water today
    2) Bread and butter sandwiches -2 and milk
    3) Lunch - cranberry and Cereal bar of oats with few almonds
    4) Excercise - Walking for 25 mins.
    6) Dinner - rice+tomato dal+green pepper curry+ yogurt
