    I am in Qatar it is too hot ,but i like gardening , just i want to know how to protect the small plants from heat . Because i planted jasmine but it becomes dry , also i put corrainder seed it grows well but due to lot of water or heat it become spoiled,whether i can grow the plants at indoor, for indoor plants how to water it ?

    It gets very hot here too may through august. This is how I protect the young plants and the ones that are on the ground for the first season.
    Tie poles on the sides and drape green shade cloth on top to cover it till about 3/4 th of the way. The plants get filtered light through the shade cloth. Regarding water, you will have to gauge the correct amount based on the soil

    You can do a search for shade loving plants.. also Hostas love shade.. Depends on your requirements.. like flowers or fern type etc..
    Visiting a nursery will also help:)

    I think what Usha suggested will work perfect.

    About the coriander seeds - while sowing, have the pots in shade and once they grown tall enough, they will be able to withstand good sunlight. I normally check the wetness of the soil before watering in plant in 'pots' - if your finger feels wet, wait until you water. If the soil / compost looks dry on top, watering maybe needed.

    Okra is veg. its also called bhindi and vendakkai. hope this helps:)
