    Hi all,

Just 2 days ago i bought a small flower plant,
whenever i water the plant, it leaks out from bottom of the pot.
Is it normal that the pot will have some leakage, do we need to close it?

Previously when i had bought the tulsi plant same thing had happened, the water will just pour out from the pot from its bottom. then the plant just died.

Please share how to take care of the flower plant in pot, its watering, etc.

    Thank you.

You need not worry..It is the excess water that is flowing out.
Don't close the outlet. This is because if water stagnates, the roots will be damaged and the plant would droop.

It is the excess water that is overflowing,
keep the pot in a dish to collect the excess water if it is an indoor plant lift the pot up if it is heavy that means it has enough water if it feels light it means it needs to be watered.
Over watering will kill the plant, alternate days is fine in most cases.
