hi latha (traveller), i directly keep the tur dhal (not inside vessel, as the chutty cooker is 1 litre, we have to cook directly only). even i add oil and also little turmeric. latha
oh okay. for me too if i keep directly inside the cooker and not in a vessel, it overflows... i too would like to know why! Latha
This happens to me too. That is why I always use another smaller pan which fits into my cooker and then boil the dhal in it. Susi

Re: Mayonize Mayonaise MUST be refridgerated immediately after opening and all foods made with mayo must also be refridgerated asap. Mayo is the perfect medium for bacterial growth so good hygiene and refridgeration are very important.
Re: Mayonize Oh thats sad.......Why the hell these stupid companies cant make small bottles or sachets.....!You know i dont have fridge in my room....So is there anything that any one can think of which is an alternativm to mayo which i can easily make myself......All this because food in mess is so so so so bad and im on verge of a hunger death....
kannankannan Instead of Mayo, why don't you try peanut butter. Peanut butter doesn't need to be refrigerated. It could use with jelly/jam as you prefer.
Are you sure abt peanut butter...Cos my mom once told me it get spoilt once opened if its not in the fridge......!
