Hey Guys, Has anyone watched trailers of "Yeto vellipoyindi manasu"? The movie seems promising, the 'kuchi kuchi' romance between Nani and Samantha seems to be working, some chemistry there... Songs by Ilayaraja are very refreshing, totally in love with " enthantha dooram" I hope it isn't my crush for Nani talking and really hope the movie would deliver what it has promised... What do you think? and anyone knows the date of release of the movie?
Mikku, I've seen the trailers. It was good and the chemistry between Nani & Samantha was waaay better than Jeeva & Samantha. Somehow I didn't like Jeeva's appearance in the Tamil version. Having said that, I must say that I'm not looking forward to watch the film. I've never been impressed with Gautham's romance style and I don't think he's going to make any major changes in this film too. I'm pretty sure some of the following would be there in the film: 1) Boy falls in love with girl at first sight. 2) Boy woos girl with some static, one liners. 3) A lot of english dialogues 4) Girl proposes to guy (that's Gautham 's idea of having a "bold" heroine. 5) Of course she has to be the complicated type- goes through frequent mind changes for no apparent reasons 6) A lot of breakups and get-togethers (since the girl is complicated) 7) Finally the twist in the climax is whether the couple unite or not
Sofs, was counting on you and you did not disappoint...hehe...as for GM's movies, I am no big fan either, but somehow Nani's presence is making me wait for this movie...and I am not worried whether the hero and heroine would unite in the climax, because they would, at any cost, in the Telugu version....GM won't take a risk with Telugu audience there; hero, heroine always have a happy ending as shown previously in Telugu versions of Kaaka Kaaka, Vinayathandi varuvaya...
Yes, Nani would be the sole reason for me to watch the film. Like Christine rightly said, he's cute as a button ;-) In fact, even the songs sound better in Telugu than it was in Tamil. Telugu music lovers are so lucky to hear the soothing voice of Shaan in Yedi Yedi. We on the other hand were tortured to listen to Yuvan Shankar Raja croaking like some drunken bar singer in Sayndhu Sayndhu :rant
You said it right,Sofea! I just cannot understand how Gautam Menon's heroine's will be really dumb but turn out to be suddenly wise. And they would always wear lovely dovely dresses and look fresh even if they clean the gutter. She will be so complicated(to the extent like a pshycho) but still the guy will do anything for her. They will always have tjis plastic smile which theythink is elegant, poise and what not......urgh..let me stop here.So unrealistic! To me a wise person will always be wise .Cannot act "so" dumb at one place and suddenly turn out to be wisey wisey when needed... Looking forward for the movie since I like Ilaiyaraja and Jeeva too..
