    I've a suggestion about the venue. I heard great reviews about the Barzan park. Feel that it would be a great place for our meet up with LO's. Though the distance matters, its worth for fun we could have there.

    If everyone feels ok, we can change the venue to Barzan park as suggested earlier or lets go with Aspire park itself.

    Pls pour in your suggestions buddies...

    Dear All,

    I really started loving this thread, the place & you people. Seeing the consideration in thoughts for Vegetarian people (who you have never met before) - who might feel uncomfortable to see non-vegetarian food, I love you people.

    Hats off to you all..

    Here, we avoided many many parties / outings with some known people - because, even when we go out for Dinner with them, they want to go for veg/non-veg combined hotels only - and eat non-veg - as if they have never had it in life.

    Even after telling them politely about it, their attitude never changed. So, we are avoiding parties with them completely.

    Being pure vegetarian, we felt so bad many times due to them - they will reply, we can sit in separate table to have our food. If we want to sit on separate table, who why we need to go all together. Also, we have to control our kid and she will crying to sit and eat with other kids. So, it was all trauma..

    Wishing to join you people there at soonest..

    Sharmila, so glad you came to know what I meant about Barzan :) I've been there few times and my daughter's 3rd b'day party was held there. All the kids had a great time.

    Other than you, Shylaja and Geetha preferred elsewhere. Once they confirm they'd be able to come to Barzan we can change the venue.

    18 days left to the meetup.

    Can we decide on the dishes gradually so that it is not left to the end, causing 2 or more of us bringing the same thing :biggrin2:

    We need to find out which venue is preferred the most, so please vote on Aspire Park/Barzan Olympic Park/Any.

    Shylaja, Geetha and CS please let us know if anyone would be joining you for the meetup (kids/mums/mils)


    From my next post please see if you can bring something from under the things list that has not already been agreed to be brought and let us know. :thankyou2:
