    We are yet to decide on getting the main meal ordered from a shop. If we could come to a conclusion on that, I could post the revised list of food items that each of us would be bringing.

    Sharmila, I am waiting for others to respond on it. If everyone agrees I don't have a problem. Personally when I have coordinated other parties/meetups I have seen people not inclined towards spending money, as far as possible. That is why I'm waiting to see responses from others. For the same reason I'm inclined towards total potluck. But again if we have enough interest I'm in :)

    I will be bringing the Sooji halwa and the cookie anyways, cos one is sweet and the other is snack. So the decision would be best taken by people who have agreed to do the main course.
