    Re: garbarakshambikai - help me

    Hello to everyone,

I hope someone will be able to help me.
I had ordered for the pooja and ghee online .I recieved ghee and instructions about taking the ghee.it said that the ghee should be taken for 40 days in the morning on empty stomach and before going to bed at night. But here at indus ladies many of them are taking just once in the whole day.i am confused.

we eat non-veg and i don't feel like having prasad after nonveg.i am ready to become pure veg for 40 days but my husband won't agree the same.what shall i do?is it okay to have ghee only in the morning?

    Please help me...

    Hai,
I used to take the ghee once in the morning as soon as I have the bath and pray. That way it will be easier to adhere to the concept of being 'pure' while taking the ghee. You can add some more ghee with that, then only you will be able to take it for 40 days. Have good faith and take it. I guess it does not matter if you take once or twice.
Eating sathvik food during such times is good. You could refrain from taking NV during this period. Afterall, we have been eating and will be eating such food all our lives. All the best, the Mother will bless you, no doubt.

    Hi

I have a doubt, it might be silly though.

Its said that the ghee has to taken for 45 days, how abt the days we have periods. As it is swami's prasadam, shd we avoid taking it, or shall we take it or only husband can take it???

    thanks
    san

    Hai,
you need not take the ghee on those days. Your husband can take it.
