Wow vjbunny that was a really helpful PDF for new mums like me.It actually has a detailed explanation of what you have to do and what your baby will do in return. It explains everything in detailed. As it says in the introduction it surely will help in developing the baby's brain in addition to giving us the happiness of getting our baby respond to us.Just cannot wait to start this with DD.thanks a ton

Hi Sangeetha Thats lovely to here they do learn to imitate what parents or for that matters others do if it is one to one like exclusive attention given to baby it will start fast attachment with that person thats how the bond between babies and parents start... Will like to know what you tried and your babies responses....
Very interesting information VJ ..thank you for sharing it ... Infact elders at home play with infants all these games which they enjoy to the core .... At three months my DD used to talk only to my mom ..and she used to get so excited when she saw her grandma... Elders also look at the overall development of the baby...they would give a rattle in the hands of the baby .....when the baby moves its hand the rattle would make noise and they would look where the noise is coming from...and also learn to hold things in hand and also tighten the grip.... They would also say small poems and teach the toddlers as well .... One such thing is Doori doori .... At 5 months ..they would make the baby sit on their one lap ..hold the neck n back and move them forward n back word and say this ...kids love this and ask them to do it again and again ..and if we stop they will take the help of the leg and do it themselves ... Like this elders at home teach so many activites to kids to strengthen their muscles ...
