From the teachings of Shree Ramana Maharishi

Complete works of Ramana Maharishi,
Taught me the essence of life.
Just one word, and it has it all,
Truth is revealed by the Master.
But I fail to follow.
Is this the way a student deals with the knowledge acquired,
Not on purpose but by situations, challenges and needs,
For they make me fail to follow the truth.
I regret for the time spent, after the knowledge acquired
Was not channelized in the proper way
Today I kneel down and pray
For that SILENCE to reign myself
For everything is within that SILENCE
A word of wisdom that conquers the whole world
That whole world is within oneself to be conquered
By practicing this single word of wisdom
For that's the essence of life
Space, nothingness, emptiness, quietness, silence
Is the place where I should reside.

In couple of years after I acquired this knowledge, psychologically i could, but physically being in a family was the only hindrance, and then I understood the true reason for saints who lead a bachelor life.
