    Human being is an interesting yet peculiar specie created by the Lord of the Universe. We come into the world because of the Lord’s love for the human being and the human beings love for each other. As soon as we arrive with the benevolence of the Lord, we seek love of mother with all intensity. When we leave, we appeared to feel desolate, wistful, devoid of fulfillment after a full quote of life and finally leave with a prognosis that love is the only thing that matters. Somewhere between the start and the end of life, we appear to have a tenuous disposition that our interest supersede the common good of everyone and develop hate or jealousy towards fellow beings. We seem to develop an esoteric thought to focus our attention to what the world could do for us as opposed to what we can do for this world. This post is not intended to be didactic but to find dispassionate answer to this incorrigible and callous behavior.

    The question here is how we sustain the attitude to love and be loved? What happens to us during that phase of development that results in such an impetuous, implacable and irrational attitude towards fellow beings? We appeared to become deft in judging the fellow beings and pretentious in projecting ourselves as extraordinary being with significant erudition. We appear to be aware that such a behavior is not sustainable and ephemeral but yet appear to embrace it with effusive endorsement.

    We appear to mix self-love and self-confidence with ineffable self-gratification. What is in there for me appears to be the first question that comes to the human mind even before venturing into any action. We forget that only thing that can bring resilience to our lives is the act of love. There is primal energy around us when we focus our attention for the common good of the fellow beings and show a subtle act of love to the fellow beings, it brings enormous self-fulfillment that we seem to lack in the evening of our lives. Connecting with this primal energy in the early part of life helps us to overcome our trial and tribulations. It runs like a superhighway around us and once we find the roads that lead us to this superhighway, it generates high energy in us that creates and sustains love.

    To bolster the attitude of self-gratification is like trying to make a cone stand with sharp edge at the bottom, mixing self-fulfillment and self-gratification amounts to having the cone on its side with a little oscillation whereas act of self-fulfillment with focus on general well-beings of all lives amounts to keeping the circular part of the cone at the bottom with permanent stability. Even in a business proposition, the prolific leaders always look for win/win as a strategy to make a deal work. Even the western civilization began to understand that the best leader is one who can be the best servant to the stakeholders.

    Primal energy is created with love to sustain life. Devoid of love, life ceases to exist. Life is about finding the compatibility with primal energy. There are sign boards giving direction to this primal energy throughout our journey. Similarly, there are neon signs showing the distractions away from the super highway of energy. Sign boards have normal lighting whereas distractions have glittering neon signs. Stability of mind helps us to not only find the super highway of primal energy but also sustain ourselves in that superhighway. Lastly, we must be aware that our own light shows direction for about 100 yards at a time but as we move along in the right direction, we can reach the destination. We have to begin the journey with end in mind understanding the journey is not an end itself but means to an end of the journey.

    The life is created, sustained and eventually merges in love. Every time we get distracted with the focus on self-gratification, we need to understand that the best way we can win the battle of life is through stability. Stability comes into our lives only with the focus on self-satisfaction derived from the well-being of everyone around us. We have a right to scratch the surface of the earth to sustain ourselves but everything in the world including us is for the common good of all beings. If we start the day with love and end the day with love, we can find the way to self-realization. Our journey is from love to love.

    @BeatClub,

    Thank you for your first response to this post. Consistency in thinking that has the ingredient of love in it has the potential to marshal our actions and create systemic impact on our life and the life of others around us. Well said.

    Dear Viswa,

    As usual you have presented the facts in abeautiful style.
    Very easy to convey but difficult to be practised. Had it been easier , today's world will be crisis free.
    Somewhere along the line, the same love drags us to 'selfish ends.Glittering lights are always attractive than ordinary lights. This distracts us from self gratification to self satisfaction and make us believe what we think or do is 100% correct. Our intellect justifies our actions too with selfish ends projected as social outlook.

    We have thousands of books on'Prema', hundreds of scriptures to teach moral values. Not even one in lakh seems to imbibe.I used to wonder whether the great scholars have totally failed in their endeavour to lead the world into the right path notwithstanding illustrations and meaningful stories. Where have they gone wrong?Or why have we gone astray? Are the teachings not forceful enough? Or haven't the scholars not paid sufficient analytic bent of mind to foresee the cultural changes during evolutionary process? While individually many are able to appreciate the divine principle of love, how does it fail during implementation?

    There are more questions and questions and no satisfactory convincing answer,
    Perhaps the world is destined to be like this , as you have said'Que Sera Sera.'

    Dear Smt. Jayasala:

    Thank you for your response that demonstrates your candor. Crisis free world seems to be a pipe dream. Contemporary thinking of love appear to vary when compared to traditional thinking of love. Generations of the past showed considerable compassion to help people outside of the family and demonstrated that love is beyond the family members. Nowadays, the true love has narrowed down and that too has become conditional. We seem to have a flawed system that is passed on to the future generations.

    As yo rightly pointed out thousands of books and hundreds of scriptures have remained decorative pieces in the contemporary world. I am inclined to think that the scholars have not failed in their teachings and the generations that came recently have flawed in understanding the nature of true love. The teachings are powerful but understanding is not. There are only handful of role models who succeeded in practicing the true unconditional love for people to emulate. Self-gratification seems to be the order of the day. I see significant amount of interest in learning but there is not much effort made to contemplate. Learning the scriptures appear to be for self-gratification as opposed to self-satisfaction and not to understand the divine principle of love. Instead of understanding and practicing the teachings in the scriptures, mostly, people are looking for answers in the scriptures for their present day problems.

    If the world has to change, the effort to understand and practice the unconditional love for the fellow beings should change.

    Viswa Sir,
    I'm just penning here my two cents : Unconditional love, expressed to one and all equally, is the only solution. And also putting God in everything and everybody, and seeing God and treating people and things in the way one would treat God is another way to look into. No place of self should be given importance. Slowly the self should vanish within the Almighty. Your title says it all, from love to love. One should try to see love in everything, be loving to everything, and become one within that love. On the whole it depends on how much people understand, grasp and practice in their personal life from our ancient scriptures. Like an arrow is pulled backwards before it gets to be launched forward, maybe this generation is the arrow and hopefully will soon reach the destination that God wants.

    @Poetlatha,

    You are absolutely right. When universal love becomes the effective love in the world, the collective consciousness of the human beings will increase significantly (i.e. 500 out of 1,000) according to Dr.Hawkins' measurement of consciousness. If universal love becomes unwritten law for all human beings (other beings already practice universal love), if so many trees are not cut for development, if animals are loved as fellow beings, if earth is preserved like a mother without throwing garbage everywhere, the calamities caused by earthquake, volcanic eruptions, tsunami, storms, landslides, etc. won't happen. Man made disasters such as tyranny against a particular religion, wars, nuclear and chemical disasters, etc. will also disappear.

    The world will not watch the children die out of hunger or lack of nutrition or lack of vaccination elsewhere in the world. All religious people will live in harmony with each other. Elders will not suffer due to lack of love from younger ones. The golden age will begin and there will be peace, harmony and growth everywhere. The tendency to hoard money and material beyond the human need will disappear.

    Visualizing universal love itself gives such a good feeling and if it really exists, we will leave a better place for the future generations to come.

    Very beautifully explained by you Sir. Every word of yours conveys the true fact. Hope somehow we can bring more awareness, and expand the positive energy.

    Dear Viswa,

    Is that interesting and peculiar 'chain of amino acids' so unique to be preserved and enshrined as maker's bezoar? Why do we give so much importance to conservation of "living matter" on planet earth?

    Is it because we've self-proclaimed as first of the sentient kind, marinated in cosmic soup, purportedly evolved from cannibalistic prokaryotic bacteria that enfolded archea creating the first eukaryotic cell, evolution, apes, wars, famine, poverty, expedition to moon, probe to mars. Are we the custodians of life on the universe? Is there a possibility that our genetic makeup is flawed and our biochemical composition is not representation of our philosophical sciences in understanding mankind. May be we're archetypal specimens whose destruction will pave path for a better and improved helix machinery who will conduct themselves better. An average 5 ft carbon buildup may have its own limitations as an inept curator of the world we live in driven by our animalistic moods and sclerotic cognition.

    I'm not cynical of our scintillating existence or role in the dark universe but just as underfoot organisms are exempted of their unbecoming traits, can we humans -- after blowing up the planet -- pardoned by other higher intelligent forms of life in the universe created by the same Lord. I don't think the Lord took a sabbatical after creating man.

    (Just me thinking loud not impugning your analysis)
    (The advantage of having articulate writers like you is to challenge my own thought process)

    Dear Aria,

    First of all my sincere thanks for your visit to this orphaned post. Who am I to question the Creator's intent to have human beings in this beautiful planet giving them all the powers necessary to rule the rest of the species and destroy the planet with carbon emissions, throwing the garbage into the seas, creating chemical, biological and nuclear weapons with no responsibility to protect and preserve this planet?

    Of course, not. However, knowing that the origin of life is love and nothing but love, why this 1300-1400 grams of grey material refuses to etch it deep inside?

    After reading and rereading "Einstein's Enigma" written by José Rodrigues dos Santos, I am 100% convinced that without having an accurate genetic makeup and biochemical composition not only in microcosm but also in macrocosm, the life would not have been created and sustained. The Creator is a perfectionist to have achieved 0% tolerance in everyone of the requirements for life to form and develop.

    Adi Sankara says, "It is very rare to get a life of a human being". So many of the compliance needs were perfected and performed to become one, all for the cause of getting a free will and a discriminative power. Having blessed to get one, we use our free will wisely for self-development but fail to use the discriminative power to put back what we take by scratching the surface of this planet.

    We are wired to love and be loved and that is not restricted to the select few determined by our free will but to love every fellow being. That is true knowledge and effective use of our discriminative power to understand and correct our own flawed love, would give us that knowledge. If every life has come into existence from the same source, where is the difference between you and me? Our objective is to love everyone as we love ourselves and get to a stage where there is nothing for us to discriminate.

    You are right. He didn't take a sabbatical but spends His time protecting the species that don't have discrimination and expect the beings with discrimination to experience true unconditional love out of their own willful effort. He wants to realize the purpose why the discrimination power is given to the human beings. He is watching the child (human beings)learning to walk the path of love by tripping and falling again and again as a mother, as He knows eventually, they would learn how to experience true and unconditional love.

    Your inquisitiveness makes me dive deep to find my flaws but let me rest my case here in the interest of time.
