Photo0013.jpg yesterday when my younger dd declared about not feeling well i was left with dosa which i packed in her tiffin.actually this dosa is made up of dals and other spicy ingredients i kept it in the fridge immediately.
today as i have to pack tiffin box only for my elder dd i decided to recycle the dosa and i prepared fried dasa with tangy veggies.
    ingredients:(for two school going kids)
    dasa-3no
    boiled potato- 1 big size
    onion- 1
    tomato - 1
    capsicum -1
    green chilly - 3 no
    salt to taste(only for veggies)
    oil/ghee for frying
    tomato sauce as per taste.
    turmerc powder to add colour.
mustard seeds 1 sp.(as regularly used)
    cut dosa into small pieces.
cut all vegetables in accordance with the size of dosa pieces.
    mash potato into pieces.
    heat frying pan/kadai pour oil.
    add mustard seeds to splutter
add green chillies, onion, tomato, capsicum, mashed potato one by one.
add salt and turmeric powder and saute well.
now you can see a colorful veggies in your kadai.
now add the crumbled dosa and saute well till dosa pieces become soft by absorbing the moisture from the vegetables.
when it looks homogeneous mixture switch off the stove.
after this you can add the following if you prefer
1 spoon of ghee as it gives nice aroma.
if your child prefers add tomato sauce.
if your kid likes to have more spicy you can add 1 sp of pepper powder.
and finally garnish with coriander leaves.
as the smell brought my dd to the kitchen she tasted it and satisfied.(she is my mil you know)
now i am eagerly waiting for the comments of her friends as i always get good number from them for my south indian preparations.
