Fresher(2011) interview-IT jobs

    HI ALL,

    My Cousin has completed BTech CSE with 74% this year(2011).She is in need of good IT job in chennai.She didnt make through campus interviews.

    Kindly tell me the companies which are recruiting freshers and also please mention good IT firms in chennai.She is not opting night shift.

    Kindly update me if you come to know about any interviews/walkin for freshers.

    Please post the updates in this thread.

    Please do a favour for my cousin.

    Hi dear ,

    It is a good time to search in IT field. Companies like infosys , tcs , cts are hiring in big numbers.

    Have a look at chetanas forum and register thru it to companies. They have a freshers section. So register there. They will call for tests .

    Next is , you can register in company's career profile .

    If you have any referral , make use of that opportunity too .

    There are so much off campuses conducted now and your cousin as scored a good aggregate so ask her not to worry!
    i am coming by so much of interviews so i will update you regularly!

    by 6,7 and 8 june 2011 anna university is conducting off campus and the company conducting it WIPRO just with and aggregate of 73% people can attend it. since she is having 74 ask her to attend it.

    if not i am providing a link for an walk-in interview of autocop-india-pvt-ltd just refer them and she may attend it as well. conducting it on june 6th

    Below are some websites which give info about walk-ins and openings for freshers.

    timesjobs.com; chetanasforum; freshersworld.com; placementpapers.com

    Ask her to register in these sites and be prepared to attend quite a few walk-ins. Quite a lot of competition nowadays.

    Also, aptitude tests are mandatory for every fresher interview, be it a walk-in or scheduled interview. So she can perform better in the tests if practises aptitude questions.

    once she clears her aptitude the percent of getting the job is 70% and only 30% in technical and HR interviews so ask her to be well prepared to clear apps.
    time consumption in grammar may secure more marks for her ask her to practice it nicely!    :thumbsup

    Most the of companies have night shifts now. that too for freshers, one has to be flexible about night and rotational shifts.

    hi Dear,

    all top companies start their off-campus drives after AUG or so every year.Hence ask her to register online in their website(tcs,cts,infosys etc).
    Meanwhile she can get prepared for quantitative apt,verbal reasoning etc.
    Sure she would get a job soon.

    Pls dont go for fake offers and dnt fall as prey for those who cheat people in name of jobs.
