    dear orange,
i have no experience about Himalaya products.i use lime which is good for oily hair.
when my hair is too oily i rub half of lemon on my scalp & bath after 15 min.otherwise i wash up my hair with any mild shampoo & then squueze half of lemon in mugof water ( preferably cold) for final rinsing.it does give shine to my hair.
PS; quantity of lemon depends upon lenght of hair.mine our shoulder length.
    love

Applying slightly warm coconut oil 2 hrs before taking head bath also makes your hair shiny and smooth.I do it most of the times.

Rinse your hair twice in a week, before rinsing apply heated coconut oil or plain olive oil for 30 mins. Boil the hot water take a turkey towel or a towel which absorbs heat and dip it to the hot water, squeeze untill the water dries and wrap around the head like a turban and continue doing it for 3 to 4 times.. it will give you a very good result in the second wash itself.:wow

use shikakai with all natural herbs like tulsi, vettiver, mehandi leaves etc to wash you hair.

once in a month use coconut milk or egg white for 20 mins before your head bath.
