    Hello Ladies

Believe in the saying 'prevention is better than cure'. Common cold is a viral infection mainly affects the respiratory system. The symptoms of common cold are running nose, sneezing, irritable nose, cough, sometimes nose blockage.

Vitamin C rich vegetables like cabbage, cauliflower, tomatoes, peppers, broccoli and

all citrus fruits, orange, strawberries, peaches etc.

Zinc rich foods like figs, mushrooms, shellfish, meat etc.

Garlic releases allicin, a natural antibiotic that fights viral infections and stimulates the production of white blood cells.

Flavonoids in the onions work with vitamin C to help kill bacteria.

Fruits and vegetables with deep orange and yellow color, full of B-carotene, like oranges, melon, carrot, tomatoes, spinach, broccoli etc

Vitamin E rich foods like green leafy vegetables, dried fruits, avocados, vegetable oils, olive oil, shrimps, steamed salmon, sunflower seed oil etc

Polyphenols in the green tea helps to boost the immune system in the body.

Make a conscious effort to introduce the above mentioned fruits and vegetables in your daily life to build the immunity against common cold.

    Be wise and stay fit.
