Foods for the 6 to 9 month old baby

    rice pulse porridge
    1/2 cup rice
    1/4 cup tur dal
    carrot slices

    pressure cook all the above items and mix to required consistency. Add salt and ghee for taste

    hi my baby is 8 months old now i m giving him pureed apple , mango , banana, carrot and peach and rice and wheat cerelac . can i give him oil and tell me some dishes that i can make the food with the combination of 2 -3 items . my baby feed after every 3 hours . pls sugges me and can i introduce more than 1 item in a day.

    my DS is 8 months old. can I start rasam+rice?
    can anyone give me the recipe to make rasam for baby?

    that sounds fine...you can start rasam+rice.But try to make the rasam masala at home with little coriander seeds,some jeera,very little pepper corns(i am sure you have not introduced your baby to spicy food..so add only few peppercorns to keep the spice level in check).Roast all of it and powder it.When making rasam you can prepare it with dal or without it.I would suggest with dal..because the child would get enough proteins too through dal.
