    Plum And Banana Purée

    PLUM AND BANANA PURÉE

Sharp or acidic fruits like plums are not easily accepted by babies. But these fruits provide plenty of vitamin C and should be included in their diet. Adding some mashed banana tones down the sharpness of the plums and keeps both baby and you happy.

    Ingredients
3 ripe plums, peeled and deseeded
    1 banana, peeled and deseeded
1 to 2 teaspoons sugar (optional)

    Method

    1. Combine all the ingredients, blend in liquidiser and serve immediately.

    Good work

    Dear Sonu,
its a good work to post baby foods. It is really difficult to give variety to babies. Your recipes seem very apt. I would like to give one suggestion which I recieved from my Pedeatrician, followed and found it very useful. She told me to give the normal food that the family eats, just do decrease spice and oil. Also introduce all types of food, all tastes before the child is 5 years old then the child will not be very choosy and fussy. It will eat all varieties of food. I followed this and am happy to say that my son eats all types of veg. food. No fussing. He gets appreciation from friends and realtives and I too find it easy to cook him many dishes. Also avoid sugar as much as possible, even milk can be given without sugar. Give sweets but adding sugar for anything and everything is to be avoided. Then most important- please refrain from giving chocolate, toffee etc. to the child. This will save the teeth and from worm problems. Even later, they will not be addicted to sweets.
