daily use thyroid medicine don't skip, avoid cabbage, eat less salt. don't eat any ready to eat foods, or canned food, that have high sodium, so avoid the sodium content foods in frozen and ready to eat foods. if you control your salt you reduce your weight and thyroid levels within 3 to 6 months, try this. your daily medicine mg also reduced from 10 mg to 2 or 3 mg . don't feel any tension about your thyroid. if you feel tension your thyroid levels will be up. so be happy .

    Dear Rama,

I too read somewhere that millets are not good if you are hypothyroid. In addition there are other foods too which are to be avoided, for instance, coffee appears to have an inhibitory effect on thyroxine absoption from the intestine, as per a medical article I read. I also found out from the internet that cabbage, turnips, spinach, brussels sprouts, peaches, strawberries, cauliflower, radish, peaches and pears are also to be avoided and if they cannot be avoided then to be consumed in small quanities.

You can try eating beet root for you low iron levels.

if you want to increase your iron levels you better to eat black raisins with warm milk every day or mix in cereals milk that will help you.black raisins in bulk available in costco or sams club.or dates will help . dates more expensive compare black raisins.

    Dear Sarala

The fact you told about salt......seemed very efective. Did you tried it on yourself and who told you about this ? Because if it is so effective why don't doctors tell their patients about this.

After learning this fact I am so curious to how medically salt intake is harful. Please do reply
